Buffalo Trace

When I was at the liquor store the other day I was pleasantly suprised when I saw a bottle of Buffalo Trace bourbon sitting on the shelf. Supposedly it has not been available in my area until now. I poured a glass last night and was pretty impressed. It is very mild compared to most other bourbons. You can taste hints of pepper and s***es with a nice subtle burn after first sip. If you are into bourbon give Buffalo Trace a try, because at $18 a fifth its a pretty good deal.

Never heard of it, but I'm going to make a point of trying new and different liquors, especially gins and whiskeys.

Eagle Rare is next on my list.

Honestly, I probably would have bought a bottle of the 10 year had I not seen Buffalo Trace and the fact it was less than Elijah Craig. I will post my thoughts in your review as soon as I have a chance to try it out.

Never tried Buffalo Trace, but I'll definitely keep an eye out for it.

My current favorite is Woodford Reserve...such an incredible bourbon
