Dumbf*** didn't realize that when they locked me out and moved the site they also deleted all of the store records. And no, it wasn't about $2.50.

Considering that I was basically giving the s*** to them for free and eating the cost of it, that geezer doesn't have a leg to stand on to b**** about it... especially considering that they owed me about 10 times what the s*** was worth.

Okay, so here's what happened...

Captain Geezer got his Depends all up in a knot and came up with his "compensation package" for what would get me out of LS2... he some how had the mistaken idea that he could just tell me how much I would take for my share, and I'm not going to discuss actual dollar figures, but let's just say that his number was laughable at best. He seemed to be under impression at that point that he could just vote away my ownership of the site, and that he could have just said "you're not an owner any more" and not given me a dime, and that would have been perfectly legal. I had to make him painfully aware that it was not, and that was pretty much "theft".

Their compensation package was also based on LS2's future income, which is something I refused to accept because it required me to trust their numbers were honest - and let's face it... who but a complete f***ing imbecile would trust someone that had just pulled that bulls*** on them?

I wanted out anyway, so I really didn't care about giving up ownership of the site... that's why I set up my Camaro site back in June of 06, I was actually intending to leave then but couldn't get them to buy out my portion of the site... so I wasn't going to leave without getting back what I had put into the board.

So I fired back in the fashion of that movie with The Rock in it, "The Rundown"... Gave them two choices. I gave them option A, giving me a fair settlement for my portion of the site based on past performance ..an actual dollar figure.. and would let make the payments in the form of a monthly check to me.... and I was REALLY lean on the dollar figure and made it real easy, and even offered to eat the full cost of the LS2 goods as part of my payment ... or option B, I make them do option A in the form of me suing them for not only the REAL actual cash value of my portion of the site (which was radically more), as well as damages and legal costs, with payment required in full up front. And knowing the site's income and bank balance.. well, that pretty much would have put them under.

So they agreed to option A.... and the first stipulation of option A is that I needed to have said agreement in writing and signed by them. Second stipulation is that I didn't budge on my portion of the agreement (turning over the LS2 goods, which were paid for by MY settlement) until I had everything in writing and had been receiving payment... I would hold on to that as collateral.

Well, the problems started first that check #1 was noticably absent from my mailbox. Didn't see that for 2 months. Second problem was that it took them until the beginning of April to give me the agreement in writing, and I got that only after I gave them a deadline to have it in my hand in 15 days or Option B went into effect... of course Elmer would blame this on Zed, and wash his hands of it. Then after I had the agreement in hand, the checks stopped coming, and Elmer refused to send checks any more until I sent them the goods.

I told him that I wouldn't ship the goods until I had an indication that I would be able to complete this agreement without having to badger them to stick to their end of the bargain every month. They were basically getting all the goods for free, and any money they made off the sales was pure 100% profit, so I wasn't about to let go of it until I knew I was gonna get my share.

So Elmer decided he was tired of me forcing them to live up to the agreement and paid the remainder of my balance in full... and I sent them the s***. Check is cashed and cleared now... so my involvement with all things LS2 is officially severed at this point.

And you don't know how glad I am about that.

Not to mention that every time I read one of his threads, I have to chuckle about how much I must of gotten under his skin... and I love it. There are so may things he's done in all of this just to "get back" at me.. Making Bravo an admin... moving Corner Garage... even refering to me as "Scott" in his posts. The man clearly has some real deep seated butthurt over it...

I just wanted the f***in money.. cuz I really didn't want my name to be associated with a site that became more and more of a joke on itself every day.

And I'm also convinced at this point that all the s*** that got blamed on Brad as far as the midnight site moves was really Elmer's idea... it's just too ironic that it happened the same way again without any connection to Brad.

LS2 Forums - Some must be suffering from amnesia, look here for help!
It wasn't an LS2 thing, it was the ISP. The usage agreement of the ISP specifically stated that hosting adult material, including links to adult material was grounds for termination of the account. That rule was made to prevent from getting the board turned off because some loser couldn't use google to find a free porn site.

And I'm sure you know that routers don't care if a link is in a public forum or a PM, they can still pick that stuff up - so we covered our asses.

LiquidWeb's current policies do not prohibit adult material on dedicated or vitual private servers. If they did at one time, I wouldn't know about it.

They did at one time on Dedicated & VPS, and still do on Shared.

See below.

I was merely pointing out their current policies. Whatever they once were, that is no longer a valid reason for LS2's NWS guidelines.

Personally, I didn't want it there because it was supposed to be a car board, but I would have gotten rid of NWS altogether.

I stepped down because it wasn't worth putting up with the b/s that was related to being a mod there anymore.

Now that situation is different.

No one ever said anything about "protecting integrity". Where do you guys come up with this s***?

That "situation" is different because pretty much everyone that gives a s*** about whether the car aspect of the site is a joke or not is gone... and now everyone is perfectly content with the joke it is.

s***, don't even have to show up but maybe once a month to moderate the nitrous forum, it doesn't take much to moderate the 7 posts there's been in the forum this month... first page goes all the way back to last July.

Why f***ing bother?

duba ??

that place is a joke if it wasnt for CG it wouldnt be a car site at all. If they were smart they would sell the rights to 'ls2.com' to someone and run it like a car site not offtopic 2.0. then with the money start a offtopic style site and market it as such.

Same as the six other 5th gen sites out there, really. I'm actually doing better than most of them. Kinda hard to post about something that doesn't exist and has no public information available... as more information becomes available, this will change.... I set up the site well ahead of when there would be activity so that I could get higher on the google page ranks.

Fact of the matter is... if it weren't for me doing something about what was going on with the automotive content at LS2.COM, there would not be any now.

Quit being such a butthurt f**, dude.

There are MUCH better offtopic sites out there than the BnG.

Yes, it is.. but it's also an established board with a very active user base, and a much broader focus. If you go out and look at boards that are JUST about the 5th gen, there really isn't much there. Those other sites are no more active than mine.. and CZ28's 5th gen area does not have any more information than any other site... they just have more people who are willing to talk about "what color" over and over.

You are such a f***ing idiot it's truly incredible.

I have no plans of "crushing" anyone... I just want to make a good source of information. So far every piece of information there is to know about the 2009+ Camaro is on my site, and I intend to keep it that way. Where it goes, I could really not f***ing care less.

Like I said, quit being such a butthurt f**got. It's obvious that you seethe over my every word... and honestly, it's getting pretty pathetic at this point.

I'd say they do have more information there, which is why a lot of people gravitate to it (not just because it's an established site). There's a number of insiders and people with connections that post there, so it's usually one of the first places anywhere to have new news about the F5. Plus fbodfather occasionally posts there, although not so much recently.

No, seriously, it does not. They have more filler and speculation there, they don't have more information. I read that forum almost every day, and grab any verified information I find on it and post it on my site. I do that with every site I'm aware of that has 5th gen information. I don't post anything speculative... just what has been verified. When Settlemire sends out his updates... I'm on his mailing list.

I'm sorry, but two sites are not going to contain all of the 5th gen Camaro information on the planet, and there's going to be plenty of traffic to feed half a dozen or more sites... if mine doesn't take off, I don't care... but it's not going to take off if it's not there, or if I'm not patient enough to wait until the car actually gets released. The amount of traffic the 5th gen alone generates at this point is not much.

You should see if any good Challenger website names are out there, may just be able to resell the name for some decent money. My old boss made quite a few bucks just grabbing names he thought would be valuable in the future.

They are already covered for the most part, you would have had to act right after the announcement to get anything.
