This forum's on-topic forums DO talk about alcohol. A thread about a Mercedes that mentions a Cadillac is on-topic in a forum with a general automotive focus. In AlcoholReport terms, what the dude is complaining about would be as if someone got pissed off that someone mentioned Miller Lite in a thread about beer.

Nut huggers of the particular brand a forum caters to never ruined any site. s***, it would be like ricers complaining that people mentioned Mustangs in a thread on The Corral.

Oh. If people are thinking a live axle is better than a IRS, then they clearly have different priorities than what the car was intended for. The GTO has much better launch capabilities than the IRS in, say, the CTS, yet it is still a compliant and very forgiving setup on the track. Personally, I'd far rather see the GTO's IRS on the next-gen Camaro instead of the Zeta suspension it's going to get.

I'm supporting people who started a site for a particular reason supporting the reason they started the site, and not giving a f*** if other things they didn't start the site for get equal billing. Christians are not required to give a f*** about other religions... just like GM enthusiasts are not required to give a f*** about non-GM cars.... And someone who is not into GM complaining about what GM enthusiasts do on a site for GM enthusiasts is like people that worship Satan complaining that Christians won't let them post about how f***ing great Satan is on a site about Christianity, and calling them ignorant if they don't want to know about Satan.

8.8 IRS for the GTOs now has made everything cheap as s***. to get a 4:10 in a stock rear cost your $450 plus shipping for down under, now its $120 from summit..

but i really dont see the problem with the stock unit for most people, s*** how many f-bodies made it to 10's on a 10-bolt. i turned 1.65 60 foots on the stock IRS for months without a problem

well yes, i dont want to hear about how much better benz is on a GM site when i have no love for a german car . they do nothing for me expect for the SLR. i have no problem talking about a new benz, but how you think you can nutswing a benz on a GM site just isnt very smart on your part
