Fair moderation would be great in there if it were a site that was geared towards all cars, but it's not. Biased moderation actually helps the site acheive it's focus. To be perfectly honest, there was absolutely no f***ing reason whatsoever I should have had to create CG in order to save automotive content on the site.

If you have any question about how a car board SHOULD be run, just take a look at LS1TECH.COM, or LS1GTO/LS2GTO.COM.

Borla is a lil' b****.

Elmer is a f***ing old douche bag who doesn't know how to run such a forum.

I'm almost sad that LS2 will be history soon. LS1/LS2 was my home for almost 6 years and now, I have no real home.

I check this place more and more frequently....

It would be cool to be a part of this place if it ended up expanding into something much bigger. Maybe I'm just used to the big forum environment

But I was on cialis of course, as women who aren't slim don't excite me as much. Cialis makes you insane even with a bum.

Yea, that's a big reason I stopped the cialis.

I'd go with levitra if I use that stuff again.

At least I function fine normally.....cept when I get pretty drunk. But then again, it's the perfect anti-whiskey d***.....so I may have to get some on hand.

i function fine normally as well. however, if i'm drunk, if it's the first time with a girl, or if it's an all night bangathon, i take some levitra

Jackasses like Jackass Daniels talks s*** in topics like these, saying that he don't need any boost and that it's gonna hurt you when you stop using it.

I've never had any side effects from the LiquiCia.

But after taking it on a Friday in anticipation of the weekend and still having frequent random wood on Monday does get annoying.

There are worse problems in life, though, so I won't complain.

Hey, don't look at me for what it is NOW. I haven't influenced the direction of that site for the better part of the last year.

the site may be more successful as a generic car site, actually. i think elmer and zed should consider that
I don't think they consider anything about the future of the site, to be perfectly honest. They have no plans, no goals, and no idea of where they want the site to go. I think I was one of the few people on the staff that actually thought having a plan for the future was something we needed to do.

the cg would not be what it is now had you stayed there. you did that subforum a disservice by allowing and encouraging gm trolls. (although you did clean it up and get rid of the gm hating)

note: by gm trolls i don't mean someone who creates a thread making fun of ricers, slow mustangs, etc. that's to be expected and is acceptible on a gm forum. when i say gm troll, i mean guys like 5.0this, dwarf killer, and shuck who actively try to ruin quality threads about vehicles by other makes.

Not giving us the CG in the upper menu is retarded, but Elmer isn't going to relent on it, and it pisses me off everytime I go in there. I finally just bookmarked it as it's own entity.

I don't think you have any idea what I was doing, or why. You just look at right now, like Elmer, and don't see the forest through the trees... I got stopped from doing it midstream because people like you complained to the right people.

I had a definite plan... it involved intentionally pushing things a particular direction, and even involved creative trolling. Never had a chance to push it back the other way, so it kinda stuck there.

It's funny that it was considered "entertainment" when it was large groups of people actively trying to ruin threads about GM stuff, and when the tables get turned on them they can't handle it.

i know exactly what you wanted to do. you wanted a site like ls1tech and you wanted rabid gm nuthugging going on.

fwiw, i didn't complain to anybody other than you. blame someone else.

your plan was to run off 'ford trolls.' when you say you had no chance to push it back the other way, that boggles me, because everything you've ever said shows that you never wanted anything approaching fair moderation in the cg. your attitude was always: if said by a gm fanboy, it's not trolling. doesn't matter what he says or in what thread.

Just like with any successful site, there is no such thing as someone being too into the products you promote. If the entire site was populated by GM fan boys, that sounds to me like a sponsor's dream. That's a win, not a loss.

I wasn't doing this s*** for your enjoyment... I was making an attempt to see that the sponsors weren't getting f***ed on the deal. Elmer apparently doesn't give a s*** if they sell so much as a dime worth of stuff as long as they're paying the sponsorship bill.... I personally couldn't take their money without giving them something back.

I actually spent a good portion of the money I made from the site on parts from our sponsors, and I never ever once asked for or took a discounted price on them. I figured I wouldn't give them a discount so who the f*** am I to ask for one from them, especially considering they were probably losing money on the deal as it was?

i cannot argue with that. however, if said rabid gm fanboys run off a bunch of other gm owners by being rabid a******s, that's not good either.

Yeah, but I have three cars and didn't mod it because I spent $5K on mods for the other cars in the last two months.

Not to mention that I'm getting pretty close to having $20K into the Formula at this point.

not wanting to buy mods means said person is broke and/or a cheap ass? right.

Yep.. or that they're not really a car enthusiast. They're just a f***in spectator.

he does have a point that those of us like that are fairly worthless when it comes to running a site like a business. if someone isn't going to buy stuff from a sponsor... why should a forum owner care too much if that person is on the site or not?

eh. we help with showing the site generates traffic and maybe in recommending a good sponsor (ex: speed, inc. treated me awesome and i honestly would recommend them to anybody looking to order parts), but when we're not out there buying s***, we're fairly worthless.

the guys who owners really want are guys who spend $10k on parts from a sponsor, install them, go out and run some great times, then post up their results.

How many people where doing that though? Steve1969LS2 spends a lot of money and Evyl said he spent a lot but not many others are. When I was modding my car I always looked for people that dealt with a sponsor and if they had good experience with them I would shop with them. I think in the long term and sponsor would make more money from a lot of people spending a couple hundred bucks then a select few that spend $10k.

There are hundreds if not a thousand people that have spent a few hundred to a grand or two. That would make more money in the end for a sponsor.

just because someone doesn't mod their car anymore doesn't make them worthless. they have knowledge and know-how because they once did mod their cars. technical information is what drives a site, and that is why ls2 is failing so miserably.
