Nick-

I don't care one way or another about you posting those screen shots, but it does show a huge breech of trust to do so.

How would you feel if one of your mods posted something from your mod forum after they had left?

Just tossing it out there man. NBD to me (honestly).

I'm not a gigantic douche to my mods, so I'm not real worried about being embarrassed by something that I posted in the private forums. I also don't make a big deal out of secrecy of the mod forum. It's like not we're discussing super secret s*** in there. We just toss around ideas for the board. Hell, I generally keep the members informed of any plans I have. See the sticky about the Wiki? The backroom guys have known about that for a while now.

What trust? I don't work on that site. I never agreed to keep things confidential in the event that I left the site. In any event, I never had any intention of posting that s*** unless Elmer decided to act like a gigantic c*** again.

Like I said. You have/had your reasons and that's cool and all.

In my eyes, it just goes to intent that's all. (Kinda like why did Monica keep the splooge stained dress)

Just something to think about.

I didn't really mean to start a debate about it. Maybe I should have pmmed you my concerns.

I take a lot of screenshots. I had to dig through a folder full of them just to find those two. I knew they were there, but it's not like I was waiting for a reason to post them. I could've just leaked them around if that were the case. Take that with a grain of salt, I suppose.

You cannot be serious? You are only getting bitter members/friends after all the drama ends and this place just turns into a cornertap style place a few will remain and you will not get as many new members as you hoped for. This is not a car site no one is going to really flock here on purpose looking up something on google.

You have post w****s thats about it lets check in at 6 months later when your membership is at a slugs crawl. Not voting for the fall of your site, but you know way better that this is not going to pull in as much profit/traffic as ls2 does or even near it.

Lets be real for a second...if this board was a large as LS2 there would certainly be a more secretive side...and only because it would then become more serious.

WTF you're trying to say with that other gibberish I have no idea..

This is a hobby for me, man. It's fun. It pays a little more than what it costs me, which is fine by me.

The drama had pretty much ended until a few days ago anyway. LS2 is not a big topic here anymore. This thread is huge because it's old.

No one comes here from Google? You really think so? Here are the Google referrals for this year:

Now, go ask the LS2 owners to provide proof of how much search engine traffic LS2 receives. I'm not in a competition with LS2, but I'll be happy to compare traffic statistics. I think you'd be surprised.

I didn't go out kicking and screaming, nor am I getting all bent out of shape. I just thought I'd share those old mod forum threads for the hell of it. 30 day stun for no real good reason? Yeah, there went any reason I had to keep them to myself.

That may be true if we were in a highly competitive niche, but we're not. We're a Booze and BS (BBS ) board... I don't think there are any others out there that come close to the size of AR.

I never said you in specific but the others seem to have jumped on the elmer lying bandwagon and they got off on making a point.I also made no comment about the mod pics...none of my business.

I think you're very level headed. The 30 day stun was to drive home a nail....no way was it justified.

I get under his skin for whatever reasons. I've been knowing that for a while. Remember, I had an entire f***ing hidden forum dedicated to me.

Oh, I understand. I just don't think it's something that's going to be needed for this site. I brainstorm ideas with DC, the mods, and the senior members, but I also include everyone else. This is a member driven site, so the members should have input where the site's future is concerned. I'm also not worried about someone stealing my ideas.

what do you think was the true premise to that forum?

was it because of here before it even was?

That's very idealistic and it will be great if that ends up being reality....just seems hard to keep reigns on things with increased size.

f***, I dunno maybe this place being off the auto trend will prove otherwise..

I had nothing to do with today's thread.

I called him out on it and what do you know, my account was fixed PRONTO.

We've experienced a few growing pains, but nothing major. We let people speak their minds here, so that makes things easier.

The things we focus on are keeping the place safe from spam and random porn posting, keeping the content forums clear of bulls***, and making sure no one is being too much of a c***.

I can't seem to find the thread that exposed it here. One of our members found a way to see hidden forums on LS2 and discovered it. I wouldn't be surprised if the mods didn't know about it, and that it was only visible to admins.

Either way, it makes no difference to me. I found it pretty damn amusing. It's gone now, btw.

My account had a hack on it. It was blatantly obvious. I was getting an INTERNET EXPLORER error while browsing with firefox. All the pictures in the error were linked to LS2 to make the error look real, which it did, except it was for the wrong browser.

I said something in the 'Check out something New' or whatever the f*** thread it was about Elmer gloating about some stupid new feature. I only posted like one thing. AJ got on Elmer's case about lying and it was obvious he was trying to cover up the fact that the hack existed (for whatever reason? )

It was done for me there. LS2 was magically better () and I just thought it was lame to lie about it. I f***ed around with Borla with it and he too danced around the issue.

So today I guess Captain Obvious said something and Elmer just went on a banning spree looking like a 14 year old with his insecurities. I didn't participate in the thread but it was about how Elmer lied about the hack they had on my account.

that sounds more like it...it wasn't anyone "inside" but someone that knew inside stuff.

I'm far from perfect, but I appreciate the compliment.
