Default Georgia Moon Corn Liquor review

I've seen this stuff on shelves for awhile, but never got it. Tonight, I thought what the hell. It's called Georgia Moon Corn Liquor, and I suppose it's a throwback to the old moonshine era. s***, it's only aged for 30 days, that's why it doesn't have any color. It's 80 proof, and I only paid $9.99 for the fifth. And it's in a freakin' mason jar Anyway, when I took off the lid this sour/pungent odor hit my nose. It's almost a neutral spirit, but when you taste it, the corn taste is powerful. There really isn't that much to it, not a whole lot of complexity. Three years ago, heck one year ago, I would have said this stuff is VILE. However, it's kind of refreshing to have such a no-frills whiskey hit my pallate. My final word is, it's worth trying if you want something new, and you really can't beat the price.............and it's in a freakin' mason jar

For $10 it's a pretty cool novelty item , but I definitely couldn't see this becoming a staple in my liquor consumption, it's just too odd.

My dad has a jar of that stuff that's got to be 30 years old. I've never tasted it. I should buy one for myself.
