I thought it was only mildly entertaining. Stupid plot, poor acting, bad dialog... and the actors and their accents sucked, too. Some hot chicks, though.

Dead on, perhaps. But I remember a time or two where his accent faded in and out. The lead-girl's accent sucked, though.

i liked some of the cars in that movie... esp the Lancer
but the Stang at the end was  with the inline 6 in it...

The Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX, an AWD (all wheel drive) car, was converted to RWD in order to drift properly. Same thing was done with 2 of the VW R32s (which are also AWD).

the skyline engine is a straight 6, but they actually used a 460 for much of the actual drifting.
and RWD Evos and STis are actually becoming popular in drifting
decent movie overall, much better than the first 2. the RX7(the orange and black one) was sick
