Schwelmer Weizen and Fischer Tradition amber.

Buddy of mine picked these up for me, for my birthday. I'm really looking forward to trying the hefe.. I'll probably crack it open tomorrow evening.
As for the Fischer, I've always enjoyed amber ales, so I imagine I'll enjoy this one as well.
I haven't had much experience (any, now that I think of it..) with euro beers, I can't wait.

Anyone here try either of these?

Never have had the Schwelmer.

I have had the Fischer though.....good beer

Find a Dunkle Wiezen, best dark beer in the world, if you want to try and get some directly from Germany than let me know. We could work something out

Finally cracked open the Schwelmer, drinking it now. :drink:

I suck at reviews, but I'll do my best:

It's a pretty damn good beer. Pours a murky golden yellow/orange, thick white head that dissipates quickly. As for the taste, it's a bit citrusy, with a hint of Banana, but overall a pretty damn good beer.
