Im actually classy enough to choose whether I like a person or not based on their personality and attitude, not their location, income, or even *gasp* race or religion

After much consideration, (actually not really) Botz99ss, you are hereby exiled from New York City and will be deported to the deep, dirty, south where you will spend the rest of your life in a trailer park filled with Klan members studying the bible. You are not permitted to visit, speak of, or think of me ever again. You make me sick, its no wonder the rest of the country thinks everyone in the northeast U.S. is an a******. This ruling is not eligible for an appeal. I have spoken.

I know you'd like to think it's Terror, but it's me. It's one thing to have pride in where you're from and all, but to just be a complete douche and lock yourself inside a box and put down the REST OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, one of the greatest nations on this planet, is just god damn retarded and un-American. No one part of the country is better than the other, they all have their positives and negatives, we're all in this together. So lighten the f*** up, pull New York's c*** out of your ass, and try to be a little more open minded in the future.

Very true. I had a NY "trip" when I left for Michigan. Then I grew up a bit. While I personally prefer NY to Michigan, it's simply irrational to go on this "NY RULES ALL" crusade.
After living in NY, CT, MI, CA and spending a great deal of time in VA/TX, I've realized that comparing strengths of different places you lived in is futile. When I was in Cali, I missed NY pizza. I could sit around and gripe about it all day and tell everyone how great NY pizza was, or I could go enjoy the fantastic Mexican there.
On a personal note, after leaving NY for 5 years, I find it increasingly difficult to return. Everyone there honestly thinks they are the greatest thing ever and they spend their entire day finding ways to convince other people of it and/or impress other people. It's like rap-culture was transformed into an island full of people and I have to live in it.
Long Island is fun, but I'm f***ing over it. Stereotypes don't run any more true than Long Island. It was difficult to see and it took 5 years of living across the country to realize it, but when I came back, I could see why everyone had such a negative view of the place.

Yes you sheltered retard. Alabama is nothing but retarded hicks, Texas is nothing more than cowboys and NY is nothing more than a bunch of a******s. Good work
How the f*** can you be against racism because it's close minded and make statements like this? You come from the f***ing melting pot of the world, New York. You have probably met a dozen people from just about every major part of the country and world in your lifetime and you're still stupid enough to stereotype people? And based on their geographic location at that!
If NOTHING else and your hypocrisies barred, I'd think you wouldn't stereotype places in this country simply because New York carries the burden of WORST stereotype in the country.
It's one thing to joke about it, like Rob's superiority thing, but it is another to honestly believe you are some sort of superhuman species. You sound like Hitler. Get the f*** off your high horse. I hate telling people I'm from Long Island because of jackasses like you.

Only someone who has never actually experienced this country would say something like this... I'm sorry, but you're never going to get me to believe that North Dakota is as nice as any other state in the country, or that Detroit is better than Honolulu.... I've been to all these places, and I know for fact this isn't true.
And New York can suck my f***ing c***.

Alabama is so retarted that they are home to the highest ranked public high school in the country (located in a suburb of Birmingham). UAB is also truly a world class medical facility. Watch sports shows....when their players get hurt, I dont know how many times Ive heard them say that they were going to Birmingham to either UAB or Healthsouth (which I believe may have some affiliation to UAB) to have their procedure done. Your stereotypical Alabama stuff that you see on shows such as Sweet Home Alabama and Borat are primarily places south of Montgomery. The areas south of Montgomery do generally blow goats with the exception of a few small cities such as Dothan, Auburn, and the gulf coast. New York is the same way...once you get out of the major cities, it sucks. I haven't been to too many different states so I can't comment on most of them.

Some parts of the country are more desirable to live in than others But to say that one part is the "best" is just idiotic. People prefer different lifestyles. No one is better than the other.

For you this may be true, but there are those who prefer the rural life over city life. I wouldn't move back to the city if you offered me 250k/yr to do so.

Seven UAB Hospital specialty programs are among the nation’s top 50 — five are in the top 25 — of the 16 categories evaluated at America’s 5,189 hospitals this year by U.S. News & World Report. The rankings appear in the magazine’s 17th annual “America’s Best Hospitals” issue, released July 7, 2006.
With its seven ranked programs, UAB Hospital was one of only 176 hospitals, or about 3 percent of U.S. institutions studied —and the only hospital in Alabama or Mississippi — to rank high enough in even one specialty to make the magazine’s national “Best Hospital’s” list.

The school slipped to #4 for 2007, but its still ranked higher than any New York school. Still not too bad for a bunch of "uneducated minimum wage rednecks".
Never did I claim that Birmingham/Alabama is the best place in the country to live, or even better than NYC. Heck, Birmingham is only a little over 100 years old. Just proving its not a bunch of trailer parks with toothless employees.
